AR: 254759 Role: MS team Architect Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite) Rate: $75/Hr on C2C Job Description MS Teams Architect Primary Skills: Microsoft Teams Expertise: A deep understanding of Microsoft Teams, including its core functionalities for chat, meetings, calling, and collaboration. Unified Communications: Proficiency in designing and configuring unified communications solutions within Microsoft Teams, including voice and video calling, Direct Routing, and PSTN integration. Microsoft 365 Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business, as they closely integrate with Microsoft Teams. Integration: Experience integrating Microsoft Teams with other Microsoft 365 services and third-party applications to create a seamless and integrated collaboration ecosystem. Security and Compliance: Ability to define and enforce security policies within Microsoft Teams, including access controls, data loss prevention (DLP), and identity and access management. Governance: Establish governance policies and best practices for Microsoft Teams usage, including team and channel management, external sharing, and data retention policies. Automation and Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation to streamline administrative tasks, user provisioning, and policy enforcement within Microsoft Teams. Documentation: Strong documentation skills to create and maintain comprehensive architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and best practices documentation for Microsoft Teams deployments. Training and Adoption: Provide training and guidance to IT staff and end-users on Microsoft Teams features, functionalities, and best practices for collaboration. Secondary Skills: Networking: Basic networking knowledge to troubleshoot connectivity and quality of service issues related to Microsoft Teams voice and video calls. Power Platform: Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to extend Microsoft Teams capabilities through low-code/no-code solutions. Change Management: Knowledge of change management principles and strategies to facilitate the adoption of Microsoft Teams within the organization. Project Management: Project management skills to oversee and manage Microsoft Teams-related projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals and timelines. Vendor Management: Experience working with third-party vendors and solutions that integrate with Microsoft Teams. Custom Development: Understanding of Microsoft Teams development using Microsoft Graph, Microsoft Teams App Studio, and related tools to create custom apps and integrations.
