Role: Build Release Administrator Location: Durham, NC (Hybrid) Duration: Long-term contract Job Description: The client requires the assistance of a contract resource to serve as a Build/Release Administrator to manage and upgrade source code repository Bitbucket/GIT/SVN for NC FAST applications; manage and support configuration changes; troubleshoot issues related to branching/merging and code repository. This position will be responsible for performing tasks associated with the code repository upkeep and upgrade, managing and automating branch/Merge processes for the NCFAST and Child Welfare applications by preparing and executing automation scripts. The position will also be responsible for creating and maintaining Ansible for automating various build/deploy tasks, providing support for Linux Administration efforts of AWS EC2 instances. Skills matrix: Skills Required/Desired Amount of Experience Experience youve Knowledge and experience of administering J2EE applications in WebSphere Application Server 8/9, Apache Tomcat and Jboss Required 5 Years Experience in working with following operating systems: AIX, RHEL, and Windows Server 2008. Required 5 Years Knowledge and experience in J2EE-specific application hosting, including VM tuning, application tracing/debugging, and application deployment. Required 5 Years Knowledge and experience with J2EE application building/deployment techniques and tools including, but not limited to Ant, Maven, Ivy etc Required 3 Years Experience with automation technologies for the related platforms (OS and Application) such as Ansible, UNIX shell script, Perl, Python, etc. Required 2 Years Experience and/or certification in cloud platform like AWS, Azure, GCP Required Knowledge on Bitbucket/Git Configurations, Branching and Merging.
