| Role: Network Engineer Location: Beverly Blvd, LA-California- Need Locals Mode of interview: Video Duration: Long term Visa: GC/USC/GC Ead only Rate: $65/hr on C2C Max Must have 10 to 13 Years experience. Upon initial engagement, he/she will work at Cedars (LA) for 3 to 5 weeks to get familiar with the process. Then he/she would be shifted to Huntington (Pasadena) until we finish. The primary refresh will finish sometime in May or June, Then he/she will return to Cedars to work on that project until it is complete sometime in 2025 or after. MUST HAVES AND MUST BE OK WITH, make sure your summaries address each one: Vaxed, booster, and flu shot required. to 10 years as a Network Engineer. MUST have current Cisco Switch refresh experience. Layer 3 switching, strong OSPF, and Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) are must-haves for the switch refresh project. This is a Cisco Switch/Router refresh position for Hospital locations swapping out 10 to 12-year-old switches/routers and then configuring and installing new ones ( Cisco 9300s, 9410's, 9500's, 9606 core switches). Cutovers for hardware refresh start around 5 pm, 7 pm, or maybe 9 pm based on location. Usually, 5 hours long. The manager said, moving 1 port at a time takes a while. You'll work 1 night on/off, and another Network Engineer will work the next night with 2 Technicians. During the day or night, you'll do prep work for the next site you'll go to. This Network Engineer will have two Technician's that work with him/her. SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT INTERVIEW: The Director has a tech drawing on interviews asking candidates about OSPF protocols, layer 3 switching, and Spanning Tree protocols (STP). 90% on-site. The schedule is quite fluid. I will describe a typical week. Monday prep work 9 to 5. But can be a split shift. Tuesday Switch Migration typically 10 Pm to finish. But as 24X7 spaces are completed it can start earlier. Wednesday prep work 9 to 5. But can be a split shift. Thursday - Switch Migration typically 10 Pm to finish. But as 24X7 spaces are completed it can start earlier. Friday - prep work 9 to 5. But can be a split shift. Sometimes we take a gap week which is all clean-up and prep.
