| From: Naveen Kumar, C4i Technologies Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: Senior HPC Cloud Architect role Locations: Basking Ridge, NJ - Onsite Overview: We are in search of a Senior HPC Cloud Architect with extensive experience in high-performance computing (HPC), Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS Cloud. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of experience, including a focus on AWS Cloud for at least 5 years. While not mandatory, experience in the Life Sciences field is highly valued. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage HPC platforms in on-premises and AWS Cloud settings. Design and implement scalable, cost-effective, available and fault tolerant HPC systems. Apply AWS Cloud best practices, using technologies like Amazon VPC and EC2. Provide computing solutions tailored to production, research and development needs. Lead and operate with offshore support teams, ensuring effective communication andxxx collaboration. Regularly interact with stakeholders (e.g. Scientists, Cloud Engineers, IT Managers) demonstrating excellent written and oral communication skills. Utilize strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and tasks. Handle ticketing systems, problem-solving, and root cause analysis effectively. Compile, benchmark, containerize, and optimize applications for HPC environments. Experience: 10+ years in Linux systems administration/engineering. Strong background in HPC systems; experience in Life Sciences preferred. Minimum 5 years with AWS cloud computing. Proficiency in managing, updating and operating GPU-based systems. Required Skills: Mastery in shell scripting and programming languages like Python, C/C++ etc. In-depth knowledge of security, configuration management and cloud computing related to HPC (AWS Parallel Cluster). Experienced in Linux Administration (Amazon Linux, Redhat, CentOS). Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.
