Job Description: Currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of a Project Manager Certified for the Child Support System Information Branch (CSSIB) Capitol Project. This project will be used by CHFS to modernize the KY Child Support System to improve the physical, socio-emotional health, safety, and well-being of all Kentucky women, infants, children, adolescents, and their families by moving from a mainframe backend to a web based system. This position is housed within the Office of Application Technology Services (OATS) Division of Social Support Systems (DSSS). This position is responsible for overseeing all facets of the CSSIB Capitol Project. Primary Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): Responsible for coordination, planning, and organization of Capitol Project activities. Interface with all areas affected by the project, including end users, vendors, and project staff. Perform analysis and negotiation of project scope, budget, and schedule and perform management of the vendor contract. Assist with planning of resources for projects. Proactively manage and track project risks, issues, budget, and schedule. Keep business sponsors and management advised of project status. Ensure that applicable CHFS-OATS system design life cycle (SDLC) processes are being followed. Oversee vendor and project team members' work and deliverables to ensure compliance with contract.
