Position: Mainframe Systems Analyst (SME) Location: 100% REMOTE Duration: 6+ Months Job Description: We have a need for a Mainframe Systems Analyst (SME) to analyze current Mainframe Systems (Large and complex COBOL/ADSO/IDMS) and document system logic and data flow for a multi-year conversion to Web technologies. There will be some regular Hands-On development with ADSO and IDMS, however the main role is to identify and document the As-Is and then perform as the SME for the Multi-Year modernization project. We are actively looking for IT Professionals to complete in-depth analysis of legacy enterprise apps and create the as-is data mapping and business rules. You will also become the SME for the application. Hands-On IDMS / ADSO experience is needed to maintain applications. The ideal individual will be highly motivated and able to work well with both business and technical team members. You will need to be comfortable doing senior level application support including writing ADSO and COBOL programming, working with IDMS and DB2 and modifying JCL and Parms. You MUST have proven skills researching multiple complicated legacy systems.
