Please send me your candidates updated Resume to [email protected] Role: PMP Certified Project Manager Standard III (Banking Domain ONLY) Location: Washington, DC 20433 (Onsite) Job Roles / Responsibilities: Project Libra is a sub-project within project ARIA, which is the overall ERP replacement project. The goal of Project Libra is to modernize the workhorse Integrated Loans Administration Platform (iLAP) which has been the backbone of Clients lending business for well over 2 decades. The platform currently manages a loan portfolio of USD 500 billion of IBRD loans and guarantees as well as IDA Loans, credits, and guarantees. iLAP is a highly customized solution atop SAP and integrates with several internal applications like Client Connections (part of e-Business client portal), LIS (Loans Information Source a loans data warehouse) and few others. The objective of LIBRA is to modernize ILAP with an in-house developed cloud solution, re-build the interfaces to work with the new platform, replace LIS, re-integrate Client Connection, migrate reports to power BI, reconstruct other applications that are likely to be impacted by the solution, as well as build upstream/downstream extensions to the solution, if any. The new solution will be hosted on Microsoft Azure. The team is looking for a highly experienced project manager who can work independently, plan the activities, coordinate and ensure timelines are being met. Must be skillful, tactful and detail oriented with an eye for identifying potential road blocks and have the experience to mitigate and navigate those. Must be able to crack the whip where necessary to meet the project goals. Scope Of Work: Plan, develop and implement one or more medium to large-sized complex project/s. Develop the project scope, define project guidelines, Obtain business and information technology sponsor approvals. Coordinate the resources necessary to successfully complete the project. Communicate major milestones, identify potential project risks, provide continuing direction to the project team. Conduct regular status meetings to review project activities. Manage the prioritization procedures for changing requirements/scope (i.e., change management) and project quality assurance and acceptance procedures. Obtain feedback to ensure that project efforts meet customer expectations for contracted time, cost and performance. Participate in the blueprinting process by ensuring the discussion stays on track. Ensure timely resolution of open items by following up with the BAs, Solution architects, business users and technical teams. Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of items. Prepare project plan with detailed WBS for the project as a whole and/or a sub-unit of work. Conduct weekly status meeting, develop weekly and monthly status reports for portfolio management and application leadership. Monitor project progress and collect schedule updates from various stakeholder. Interface with Portfolio Management and Project Governance for project updates at various phases of the project lifecycle. Mandatory Skills / Experience: Must have at least 15 years of experience At least 10+ years experience managing complex projects requiring coordination across multiple business lines/organizations. PMP Certified Experience with IT projects in the Financial Industry Experience with IT projects utilizing multiple technologies and frameworks, particularly agile/hybrid agile. PM specific: Advanced knowledge and experience in the SDLC methodologies especially Agile, and SCRUM. Advanced knowledge and experience in the development of project resource management. Advanced knowledge and experience in the project and program management processes with institutional planning, investment, and project performance measurement options. Ability to quickly decide on alternate solutions to keep the project on time and budget. Ability to foresee risks affecting the project and put in place mitigation strategies. Must be a tough task master who can diplomatically convey goals, timelines and adherence to these.
