The acquired company operates on Lawson version 10, utilizing modules such as GL, GL Sub-Ledger (AM, AP, AR), and PO. The client has received data in Excel format from Lawson tables but lacks the necessary data definitions and models. The consultant will play a crucial role in creating a comprehensive data structure to facilitate efficient storage, retrieval, and reporting in a separate database. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the client to understand the acquired data from Lawson version 10. Define data structures, models, and relationships for GL, GL Sub-Ledger (AM, AP, AR), and PO modules. Develop data definitions to ensure clarity and consistency in data interpretation. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements for the new database. Design and implement a robust database schema to store and manage acquired data effectively. Ensure compatibility with reporting tools and establish mechanisms for seamless data retrieval. Provide documentation for data definitions and models for future reference and knowledge transfer.
