Please let me know your interest in the below role- Lead Hadoop Admin with Cloudera Reston VA (This is Primarily a Remote role but There will be some onsite meetings in Reston, VA from time to time. ( Only considering candidates local the DC, MD, VA area) 6+ Months contract Visa: No H1B, No CPT & No TN Video Interviews This is a CORE ADMIN role Very extensive Cloudera (CDP) Absolute Must Have Solr Manager Notes: Needs hands on skills with Cloudera and needs to be a Solr SME. Will be leading on multiple projects. Nice to have someone who can convert but is not required AWS exp with Cloudera in public cloud (CDP) is really really nice to have Must haves: 1. Leading teams 2. Cloudera hands on exp (setting us clusters, infrastructure, server notes, etc...) 3. Solr SME Leading: multiple environments with close to 300 servers. Will work on security, vulnerability, hands on with configuration and troubleshooting issues themselves, providing advice and guidance to team members. 40% is hands on work / 60% meetings and providing direction to team members... Right now, the biggest problem they are facing is with Solr so needs someone with good exp there. 3-5 years of prior Leading exp. Around 6-8 team members to manage.
