Role: Middleware Architect Location: Albany, New York Duration: 30 Months Client: NY State Client Job ID#: HBITS-05-13204 Respond by Date: 01/17/24 5:00 PM Description The Office of Cannabis Management oversees the States Medical Cannabis Program, which ensures medical cannabis is available for certified patients with critical health conditions and is dispensed and administered in a manner that protects public health and safety. The Systems Architect will be involved in the systems analysis, design, development, integration, and implementation of the core business functions for the OCM Medical Cannabis Program. Duties Participate in systems analysis and design, system development and integration of core business functions, and system implementation. Develop and maintain software applications by performing configuration in an Oracle Fusion Middleware environment. Prepare and/or assist with the preparation and maintenance of detailed technical procedures, user guides, system documentation, customer support documentation and design diagrams. Develop and execute unit and system test plans. Provide end user support and/or training to Office of Cannabis Management staff. Work in a team environment or independently without supervision. Perform analysis and troubleshoot complex problems. Multi-task as priorities and/or problems arise. Mandatory Requirements Experience (12+ Years) Defines the architecture of a computerized system (i.e., a system composed of software and hardware) to fulfil certain requirement, including a breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions, and interfaces (including with the environment, especially the user), and the technologies and resources to be used in the design. Requirements This is an 100% Onsite 84 months of experience working in a Linux-based environment, including experience with Linux internals 84 Months of experience installing, configuring, managing, and maintaining Oracle Fusion. Middleware Products, including Oracle WebLogic servers, Web servers, and SOA suite. 60 months of experience installing, configuring, and maintaining IBM WebSphere Servers, IBM HTTP Web Servers and managing the WAS platform for FileNet Enterprise Content Management System. 60 Months of experience installing, configuring, administering, and maintaining Business Intelligence products like OBIEE (Oracle Analytics Server) and BI Publisher. 60 months of experience in implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) in WebLogic and Oracle Business Intelligence OBIEE (Oracle Analytics Server) platforms. 60 months of experience with WebLogic server troubleshooting, performance tuning and analyzing thread Dumps using tools like samurai, thread dump analyzer, jvisualvm etc. 60 months of experience with application performance and monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Wily New Relic. 60 months of experience configuring, managing, and maintaining other application servers like Tomcat, Apache and nginx.
