I can be reached from Email ID: [email protected], Direct: (609)-934- 3184 Ext (110) Test Engineer (Thermal Systems) Location : West Hartford, CT (Onsite) Long term- Contract Open for Only US Citizens Summary: The ideal candidate will support activities in developing and maintaining test equipment used to test the functionality of thermal system units for the aerospace industry . Job duties include providing a broad range of hardware/software/system design, development, testing, repair, upgrade and maintenance services in support of manufacturing and engineering test equipment. Basic Qualifications: BS in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering. Masters Degree a plus. 2+ years of experience in mechanical and thermal design and analysis, system and feedback controls performance, fluid dynamics , test engineering and a good knowledge of principles and practices of related specialties. CAD knowledge and experience in documentation of test systems Strong communication skills (both written and verbal). Work and execute independently with minimal technical oversight and general direction. Ability and willingness to travel approximately 5-10%. Preferred Qualifications: Programming experience using NI LabView, Visual Basics, and DOS based systems. Extensive knowledge of thermal heat transfer or refrigeration cycles. EPA 608 / 609 certification. Demonstrated capabilities in failure analysis and troubleshooting of complex systems.
