From: priyanka verma, Triwave Solutions Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: GIS Programmer Analyst Job Overview: This candidate must have experience in systems analysis, system modification, relational database development (preferably Oracle) and ArcGIS. Experience with projects related to cadastral GIS mapping, geospatial data, land ownership and records management is required. Required Tasks to be performed: Data analysis and resolution of system issues related to Geodatabase creation. Research, analyze and resolve GIS and non-GIS data conflicts in FL-SOLARIS, and BTLDS data related to Geodatabase adaptation of JAVA based systems. Perform GIS analysis of spatial data to verify accuracy of converted Oracle Spatial data to ESRI Geodatabase features. Perform research of DEP internal systems data and mapping. Review of Water Management District and other agency GIS Data for integration into new ESRI Geodatabase. Assisting in the preparation and documentation of program requirements and specifications. Facilitate coordination with ESRI, DSL, and OTIS for creation and conversion to ESRI Geodatabase from existing ORACLE Spatial database. Provide support as needed in creation of long-term solution for cloud migration of supported applications. Required Skills and Abilities: Experience with land survey and cadastral GIS mapping. Experience with cadastral GIS mapping applications. Prior experience with projects related to cadastral mapping, property tax records, and/or land ownership. Prior experience working with geospatial data. Ability to be creative, to use sound judgment, and to display foresight to identify potential problems. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Ability to work independently and part of a team. Ability to work as part of a team. Ability to determine work priorities and ensure proper completion of work assignments. Ability to solve problems and manage issues effectively proactively and aggressively.
