Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including network administrators, system administrators, and support staff, to ensure efficient infrastructure operations. Budget Management: Manage the infrastructure budget, including cost control, resource allocation, and vendor relationships. Technology Evaluation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and evaluate their potential benefits for the organization. Recommend and implement appropriate technological upgrades and improvements. Network Management: Oversee the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Server and Data Center Management: Manage server hardware, data centers, and cloud resources, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect infrastructure and data. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain plans for data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity to minimize downtime and data loss. Vendor Management: Collaborate with technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee service level agreements (SLAs). Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Address infrastructure-related issues and outages promptly, minimizing disruption to business operations.
