Please let me know your interest in the below role- Sr. Jira Administrator Baltimore MD ( Hybrid- 3 days onsite, Only considering candidate's Local and Commutable distance) 12+ Months Visa: No H1B, No CPT & No TN Video Interviews Looking for a JIRA Admin with strong Atlassian Suite background. Manager notes Candidate will be an expert in Atlassian Cloud- Jira products, ancillary products related to that. We use Ops, Genie, Atlassian Atlas to broker user accounts Need someone who has experience managing Atlassian, standardizing configurations with Jira products, doing advanced config of the product Doing advanced configuration in that they would be helping users configure- internally user facing Need to help skill up and provide guidance on how to do it Do most work through jira for tracking- need someone to monitor jira etc One thing thats different than previous role- looking forward, they went through a migration over the past year and a half to move on prem to Atlassian cloud. Now entirely cloud based and need to start looking at certain integrations and policies/automations in that environment, so hoping to find someone who is familiar with Jira API (REST API)- need programming and being able to interact with programming and building out that way Have reporting they need to be able to do- Atlassian analytics, familiarity with SQL Team uses mainly python, but if proficient in other languages that could work as a programming language too. Would need someone who can write codenot necessarily a full fledged dev, but someone who can write in python- ie interacted with an api, have done more complex actions, etc Sort of a backfill but role is changing slightly Would be the main Atlassian person- team as a whole does ops reliability Need someone who can operate independently- someone who can come up with their own solutions Job Description: The candidate selected for this role will be part of the Technology Operations Reliability team. The Reliability team supports observability and developer productivity platforms. The Sr. Jira Administrator will be responsible for supporting and maintaining Atlassian cloud products, such as Jira Software, Jira Service Management, OpsGenie, Automation and Access. Responsibilities Support integration with Jira Software and Jira Service Management via API and marketplace add-ons Automating manual platform management processes through scripting or programming Coordinating enterprise-wide outreach and reporting efforts as part of platform governance responsibilities Supporting and troubleshooting Jira Server running on windows server and Atlassian Cloud products Evaluate the use and integration of third-party add-ons Coordinating and collaboration with users of the platform Develop training and documentation materials Experience General Familiar with Agile and Kanban development frameworks and project management Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex issues to provide comprehensive solutions Able to demonstrate experience supporting technical users and conduct requirements analysis Can work independently with minimal guidance & oversight Experience with IT Service Management and familiarity Incident & Problem management Required Technical Expertise 3-5 years experience managing and configuring Atlassian products (Jira Software, Jira Service Manager, Jira Automation) Experience with Atlassian Marketplace add-ons such as Zephyr Automated Test Suite and ScriptRunner Demonstrated proficiency with scripting and automation (bash, python, other programming languages) Preferred Technical Experience Experience automating manual tasks Experience with Agile processes and other tools in the space (Rally, Trello) Experience with identity management, SSO, and license management Experience supporting custom and third-party software integrations into a SaaS platform via API Experience with large platform migration efforts Thanks & Regards, Deepshikha Dixit | Lead HR DRK America LLC |Naperville, IL 60563 [email protected] Keywords: information technology trade national Illinois Maryland Tennessee |
