Please let me know your interest in the below role- Security Network Engineer Santa Clara, CA ( ONSITE, LOCAL) 6-month contract Visa: USC and GC only Video Interviews Must have local ID/DL Certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) IS A MUST Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) Virtualized Platform (VMware) experience Responsibilities: Maintaining LAN, WLAN, and architecture of the server as per the business policy Maintaining and managing Panorama and Palo Alto firewall configuration. Maintaining and managing Cisco FMC and Firepower FTD at local and remote sites. Management of Global Protect VPN, GP Gateway configuration. Global Protect pre-logon configuration and integration and enrollment of Cisco DUO MFA. Manage and configure Cisco WLC, APs, and its access controls. Oversee the companys security posture and proactively take measures to safeguard the network. As a precautionary measure, analyze and implement new security protocols for greater efficiency against any threat or malfunctions. Resolving the existing network security issues, including hardware malfunctions Architecting and maintaining the VPN networks Reporting the security analysis of findings with other entities Participate in the investigation of security Incidents as a member of the CSIRT. Maintaining & and implementing the Standard Operating Procedure for Network Security Supervising the installation of new firmware on network devices. Knowledge of performing routing protocols (MPLS, HAIPE/IP, QOS, and WAN) Monitoring of web security gateways, perimeter security, network access controls Qualifications: A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is desired. Alternatives to a technical degree are a combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. Experience working on MPLS and TCP/IP networking projects and demonstrated experience with network security principles. Experience planning, configuring, implementing, and maintaining IP network products, including routers, switches, wireless networking, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and Firewalls. Hands-on experience with one or more operating systems - Cisco and Palo Alto network. Demonstrated experience with communications protocols such as IP, TCP, UDP, MPLS, OSPF, IGRP, and BGP. Knowledge and experience with encryption products, methodologies, and configuration. Experience with Network Management products Experience with Anonymous/Privacy Internet capabilities and supporting network architecture.
