Role - Engineer - Development Engineer - Sr / Backend Location - Brooklyn Park Minnesota Hybrid team, come in every Wednesday to the Brooklyn Park office. Visa : USC/GC Holder Only Duration : 6+ months Job Description Looking for senior candidates with more than 11+ years of experience. Project: modernizing the system that enables Target to accept credit and debit cards. We also support another system in production. Expected to work on modernization for credit card services and developing components Expected to develop and test code. Estimate stories, have worked in an agile environment and are familiar with ceremonies. Understands how teams work in 2-week sprints. Create automated test scripts and deliver. Our unit testing is automated. For performance testing we use jmeter, gatlin and velocity. We need experience with Kotlin and Java equally. We are converting to Kotlin but we still have Java too. Will be mainly heads down coding. In the future, they might have to work with infra partners and database partners. Experience Must Haves: 5+ years of experience Spring Boot Spring Batch Java Kotlin Postgres and Oracle We integrate with Kafka Kibana Grafana Docker Jmeter, gatlin, velocity, etc.. for testing tools Nice to have: Micronaut Don't need to have credit card experience. Interview: 30 mins going over basics and do some coding on a video interview. Will be expected to share screen when they do a piece of code.
