Nice to Have: Strong communication and ability to interface with both developers and stakeholders. Targeting previous Cap1 contractors REACT Native Mobile experience SWIFT Kubernetes Primary Duties: Work with a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems for both web and mobile Perform software development on full-stack applications leveraging a test-driven development pattern. Own the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems. Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community. Utilize programming languages including TypeScript (Node, React, React Native), RESTful web services, relational and nonrelational databases, CICD pipelines (Jenkins), and cloud-based services (AWS/GCP) Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply) At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Google Cloud) Preferred Qualifications: Masters Degree 7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Node 4+ years of experience in open-source frameworks 2+ years of experience in Agile practices 1+ years of people management experience Prior Capital One experience is a plus.
