Please let me know your interest in the below role- Microsoft Engineer Nashville, TN ( HYBRID, 2-3 days in a month, LOCAL ONLY) 12 months contract Visa: USC and GC only Video Interviews All individuals will work remote however they must be located within a 3-hour radius of Nashville TN as they may be expected to go onsite 2-3 times per month. The hours will be 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday. A consultant needs to collect their laptop from the client's office on the first day. The responsibilities are as follows: Design, implement, manage, and support of Microsoft-based technology solutions for clients. Responsible for ensuring that Microsoft systems, services, and applications run efficiently and effectively. Work closely with clients, other IT professionals, and cross-functional teams to provide technical guidance and support. Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft technologies and share knowledge with team members or clients. Provide advanced technical services during the post-sales cycle. Provide support and mentoring to less experienced engineers. Produce documentation and provide detailed knowledge transfer to customers. Perform technical hands-on integration of various technologies mentioned below . Qualifications: 5+ years designing, planning, and deploying Microsoft-based solutions such as Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Exchange Server, Microsoft 365, Azure services, and other Microsoft technologies to meet clients' requirements. Proven ability to administer and maintain Windows-based systems, ensuring their stability, performance, security, and scalability. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Microsoft systems, applications, and services. Implement security best practices and ensure systems and data adhere to relevant compliance standards, such as NIST or CIS. Keep systems up to date by applying patches, updates, and security fixes. Demonstrated experience using monitoring tools and conducting regular performance tuning to ensure optimal system performance and reliability. Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, policies, and procedures. Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Microsoft certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or Azure certifications are highly desirable. Knowledge of IT security best practices. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware) is a plus. Scripting or programming skills (PowerShell, Python) are advantageous. Experience with any of the following: Splunk, DNAC, DNS/Infoblox, SolarWinds Core Competencies Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
