Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals including network administrators system administrators and support staff to ensure efficient infrastructure operations. Budget Management: Manage the infrastructure budget including cost control resource allocation and vendor relationships. Technology Evaluation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and evaluate their potential benefits for the organization. Recommend and implement appropriate technological upgrades and improvements. Network Management: Oversee the organization's network infrastructure ensuring high availability scalability and security. Server and Data Center Management: Manage server hardware data centers and cloud resources ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect infrastructure and data. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain plans for data backup disaster recovery and business continuity to minimize downtime and data loss. Vendor Management: Collaborate with technology vendors negotiate contracts and oversee service level agreements SLAs. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Address infrastructure-related issues and outages promptly minimizing disruption to business operations. Capacity Planning: Monitor infrastructure usage and plan for capacity upgrades as needed to support business growth.
