MQ AND DB2 Should have good understanding of Mainframe technologies from development and implementation stand point Should be able to understand the requirement better and come up with design and suitable prototypes Knowledge in BFS domain and Application Modernization is preferred. Should have good communication, Precise verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively in English. Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels both internally and externally. Proven ability to identify and troubleshoot customer issues quickly and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Understanding of customer support best practices and familiarity with customer support success metrics Required Skills: COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM, CICS, IT Service Management, IBM Mainframe Utilities, MQ, MVS Nice to have Skills: Java, BFS domain experience Top 3 Must Haves: 1. Responsible for Analysis, coding, testing, and maintaining application software written in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, MQ and CICS. Supports existing business systems applications. 2. Partners with senior developers and application architects to identify business need and appropriate technical solutions. Responsible for coding as well as assisting with designing and documenting technical requirements for business applications 3. Participates in 7x24 on-call system support on shift basis.
