Job Title : Jira Administrator Visa: No H1B, OPT MOI: Skype Client : TRP Location: Tech Center (Owings Mills) Hybrid This is for an experienced Jira Administrator. This is a Hybrid position (2-days in office). Per the call with the hiring manager this morning, we need a candidate with strong communication skills (verbal and written). This is a BACKFILL role. The hiring manager is expecting to rely on this person to be the go-to person for all things related to Jira/Atlassian. The main responsibilities for this role is to be technical support for all end-user issues with Jira/Atlassian. Role Description The candidate selected for this role will be part of the T. Rowe Price Technology Operations Reliability team. The Reliability team supports observability and developer productivity platforms at T. Rowe Price. The Sr. Jira Administrator will be responsible for supporting and maintaining Atlassian cloud products, such as Jira Software, Jira Service Management, OpsGenie, Automation and Access. Responsibilities Support integration with Jira Software and Jira Service Management via API and marketplace add-ons Automating manual platform management processes through scripting or programming Coordinating enterprise-wide outreach and reporting efforts as part of platform governance responsibilities Supporting and troubleshooting Jira Server running on windows server and Atlassian Cloud products Evaluate the use and integration of third-party add-ons Coordinating and collaboration with users of the platform Develop training and documentation materials Experience General Familiar with Agile and Kanban development frameworks and project management Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex issues to provide comprehensive solutions Able to demonstrate experience supporting technical users and conduct requirements analysis Can work independently with minimal guidance & oversight Experience with IT Service Management and familiarity Incident & Problem management Required Technical Expertise 3-5 years experience managing and configuring Atlassian products (Jira Software, Jira Service Manager, Jira Automation) Experience with Atlassian Marketplace add-ons such as Zephyr Automated Test Suite and ScriptRunner Demonstrated proficiency with scripting and automation (bash, python, other programming languages) Preferred Technical Experience Experience automating manual tasks Experience with Agile processes and other tools in the space (Rally, Trello) Experience with identity management, SSO, and license management Experience supporting custom and third-party software integrations into a SaaS platform via API Experience with large platform migration efforts -- Keywords: information technology golang |
