This includes the need for qualified and experienced vendor consultants to analyze and recommend prioritization for plans to ensure persons with disabilities can access web content in a manner comparable with those without disabilities. This includes ensuring and analyzing the web portals and Technology Services internal, mobile, and external applications to improve overall usability including navigation of the sites and reorganizing the information architecture as appropriate including the internal web applications. The proposed project person will be able to adhere to the hybrid working model by working on-site 2-3 days per week in Sacramento, CA Required Qualifications : At least three (3) years of experience working on accessibility compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 levels A and AA, and compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 508). At least three (3) years of experience, working in a lead capacity, defining, developing, and implementing web accessibility WCAG compliance assessments. At least three (3) years of experience performing web accessibility assessments and remediation including knowledge of Section 508 and for compliance with WCAG accessibility standards and requirements demonstrated via experience and including up-to-date certification such as International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP). At least two (2) years of experience working with common assistive technologies, including screen readers, magnifiers, and voice recognition software products. Two (2) or more years of experience using and/or supporting users of Job Access with Speech software such as Job Access With Speech (JAWS)/ NonVisual Desktop Access (NVDA). Two (2) or more years of experience conducting accessibility testing on multiple platforms and devices, including iOS and Android mobile devices. Two (2) or more years of experience working with HyperText Markup Language (HTML) accessibility techniques including JavaScript, Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX), and Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA). Two (2) or more years of experience engaging and working with mobility impaired, audio, low vision and/or blind users. One (1) or more years experience using ARC Platform or similar digital accessibility scanner to test web solutions. Keywords: California |
