Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field Seven to ten years of experience in IT systems administration, software application development, or a related field Strong team player with ability to develop successful working relationships with various IT departments across a large enterprise Infrastructure architect experience with proven ability in creating IT systems and/or IT architecture design documents, preferably within a large government enterprise, is a must Extensive knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, SQL, SAP, Oracle, and C# a plus Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, UNIX, and databases like MySQL a plus Experience with cloud computing and cloud technologies Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and governance models Comfortable working with management and IT professionals at all levels to solicit information and complete analysis Strong written and verbal communications skills Job Duties and Responsibilities: Partnering with various IT teams, primarily within the organization, to document the technology system architecture and functional design used by various Commonwealth agencies. Assisting management and stakeholders in evaluating the current state architecture and sharing recommendations on how the agencies can best use their IT assets effectively Documenting the process using appropriate architectural models Generating graphic representations and abstracts of the system architecture models Evaluating existing IT systems for exposure or weaknesses that could compromise performance, security or efficiency Identifying shared infrastructure options to optimize information management systems and data sharing and analytics Keywords: csharp information technology Massachusetts |
