SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant

Location: San Francisco, CA     
Onsite

Duration: Long term

Description:S/he will need to quickly &
accurately enter required information into SAP-based procurement application.
Perform a variety of transactional work - submit purchasing requisitions on behalf
of R&D employees, change POs, enter goods receipts, etc. The companys SAP
procurement system has zero tolerance for error so its important to be
accurate AND fast.In addition to the SAP-based procurement system the candidate
will be responsible for documenting key details in excel. Must have advanced
digital skills to meet the demands of this role.In addition to email, Skype,
and phone calls this role requires frequent 1-to-1 personal interaction with
R&D employees. Candidate will need to patiently guide their R&D
customers through the procurement process. Leverage Outlook reminders &
tasks to follow up on open issues and manage multiple priorities. Must possess
the necessary skills in MS Excel to create & maintain pivot table reports. Experience
& Skills RequiredThe role requires a candidate that has a balance of
technical and administrative skills. The preferred candidate will be organized,
have excellent SAP skills (preferably in procurement), experience in customer
service, excellent written & oral communication skills, and basic /
intermediate accounts payable knowledge. Strong SAP & digital skills are
critical for this role. Candidate must have a strong digital foundation and be
able to pick up new software systems quickly. The company averages 75 free form
text POs per month for a wide variety of goods and services.Customer service
& Communication skills are also important for this role.Must be very
comfortable using Outlook email & tasks and Skype IM, screen sh
