Seek people out of JP Morgan, Barclays, Citigroup Rate:- $60-$65/hour on C2C Hybrid in Midtown, NYC Role Description: Reporting to the Engineering Team Lead, this person will be a key member to provide quality assurance testing to ensure any business-requested changes are validated prior to handing off to UAT. This person will learn the business as well as understand the testing framework and processes for our applications. Required to draw on testing knowledge in order to creatively develop solutions for automating test processes as well as design maintenance procedures and documentation. Within this team, there is an open and collaborative approach to work on solutions for applications and workflow processes. Additionally, this person will be required to automate any repetitive steps in a workflow process or application in order to provide the highest quality for our technology and business and will be required to meet those standards and prove your ability to provide the best test capabilities. Role Objectives: Review user stories planned for the spring and provided user point estimation during sprint planning. Design manual test cases and creates automation scripts for in-sprint testing. Execute test cases either manually or using automation test tool during In-sprint testing. Review test coverage and ensures traceability of test cases to the business requirements. Perform impact assessment of all business requirements and any change to business requirements. Maintain applicable test artifacts (Test plan, test cases, test data automation scripts) per the business requirements or change requests. Provide in-sprint testing progress to the functional test lead and escalate any issues/risks. Qualifications and Skills: Strong knowledge and coding experience in Python to automate test cases for post trade back office and trade flow. Strong hands-on experience in building test automation framework and developing automation scripts using Python 3-5 years of experience in application development/automation framework development using Python 5-7 years of working knowledge and ability to develop test automation script for post trade data lineage. Strong knowledge and coding experience in Python to automate test cases for post trade back office and trade flow. Strong hands-on experience in building test automation framework and developing automation scripts using Python 2-3 years of professional experience of implementing PyUnit, Junit or Unit test automation would be plus. 3 years of professional experience working with data sets, writing scripts and SQL Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or comparable discipline is desirable. Ability to understand complex data flows between various internal and external applications. Having knowledge in Investment Banking Back Office. Should have thorough knowledge in Fixed Income Trade life cycle.
