Job Title: Solution Architect - Security Reports to: Sr. Director, Service Delivery Location: Charlotte, NC or Remote Duties & Responsibilities 70% Manage relationships with customers, vendors, sales engineering, and Managed Services Activations team to support the successful installation of clint managed security services. Partner with Project Managers to manage scope and mitigate risk across projects. Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with internal and external agencies. Identify and manage project issues across multiple projects. Provide verbal feedback regarding processes, methods, technologies and proposed solutions etc. 30% Represent the business unit as the SME for your assigned area Represent the business unit in meetings that affect workflows and daily team functions. Produce productivity reports for various groups, which will include reports up to the executive team. Qualifications Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in information technology, computer science or related field. Experience: Min. 5 years telecommunications experience with a deep understanding network or security fields. Current or previous technical certifications in information/cyber security (Security+, CISSP, or vendor specific security certifications) Current or previous technical certifications in data networking, routing and switching (Network+, CCNA, or other vendor specific network certifications) Expertise in Internet and WAN technologies including MPLS, Metro Ethernet, DDoS, NAT, DNS, DHCP and VLAN Min. 5 years experience in data technologies, security technologies, security frameworks and policies, and business process analysis. Previous experience in designing and administering next-generation firewall solutions. Key Competencies: Strong interpersonal skills to support management, negotiation, and problem-solving functions of this role. Excellent judgment and discretion; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines in high pressure scenarios. Must be able to work independently and productively with minimal supervision.
