Position:Business Intelligence Specialist, USC/GC Only Location:Hybrid remote 2 days/onsite 3 days in NYC Duration: 6+ Months MOI: Phone and Video Job Description: Summary of position The candidate will be required to work closely with the Finance teams to perform data analysis and develop feeds, applications and reports. The candidate must have strong design and analysis skills to ensure the deliverables are comprehensive and intuitive. The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills and experience as a client facing representative. Additionally, the candidate must understand the AXIOMSL Software Development Lifecycle and the process necessary to perform effective change management. The candidate must have expert skills in all areas related to DataBase, AXIOMSL and the surrounding development of DataSource, DataModel, Portfolio, Aggregations. ACBS or LoanIQ experience is a PLUS. The candidate will be required to work closely with the Compliance, Finance, Credit Risk and Client Management to perform data analysis & dashboard analysis. The candidate must coordinate with the server team for the deployment of patches, configuration tuning required to adapt to the deployed patches and non-regression testing to ensure all processes function as expected. The candidate must have experience with Business Objects & Tableau and the knowledge around the integration of various data sources required. The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills and experience as a client facing representative. Additionally, the candidate must understand the Software Development Lifecycle and the process necessary to perform effective change management. The resource Design and coordinate planning to implement required patches; Coordinate deployment, testing and sign off; Provide expertise around BI processes and identify potential adverse impacts related to configuration changes; Partner with the security team to ensure development standards remain in tact and access segregation is enforced where required; Participate in design reviews and ensure applications are production ready; Collaborate with various functional teams to achieve required business results. Requirements Proven experience with Tableau & Business Objects Server Infrastructure, specifically development, publishing and back end administration. Strong SQL skills using DB2, Oracle databases. Experience using JavaScript API. Experience or exposure to scripting language and ETL processes; Knowledge of Tableau optimization and tuning. Strong knowledge of best practices for dashboards and BI reporting. Experience with business intelligence visualization tools and business intelligence tools. Experience with predictive and prescriptive data analytics, to include regression analysis and simulation. Expertise in visually representing complex databases and data modeling. Expertise in the research, development, and support of data visualization techniques Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Strong communication & presentation skills, particularly with clients, team leads, & managers. Ability to work in a dynamic and often fast-paced environment. Comfortable working in a collaborative / team-based approach. Ability to take initiative and work independently. Detail oriented organizational skills. Experience working in for a Financial Institution a plus. Experience with Informatica Data Quality data consumption a plus. BI certification a plus. Minimum 7+ years experience developing BI reports. |
