Reviews the Unix/Storage performance metrics and reports provided by the Managed Service Providers
Works with the managed service providers to establish overall inventory of hardware and software in the Unix & Storage environment
To contribute to the end-to-end design of infrastructure solutions and the creation and maintenance of related component standards
To produce and maintain sufficient documentation for the designs, design patterns, and related component standards created or maintained
To interact with senior internal and external stakeholders on significant technical matters as it relates to organizational objectives
To design, build, test and implement (first-time deployments) integrated, resilient and reliable solutions in respective solution area
To lead technically small project teams, mentor/lead individuals in workgroup and provide guidance to less experienced personnel
To ensure designs and solutions in their respective infrastructure solution area align and adhere to the organizations Technical Architecture Framework (TAF) policies, standards and direction
To provide technical recommendations and contributes to position papers, white papers and best practices for the infrastructure solutions and the use cases for their respective solution areas
To stay aware of operational challenges and opportunities.
