| From: nitu, RCI [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position :- Network Specialist Location :- Long Beach, NY-Onsite Duration: 6+ Month POSITION OVERVIEW The Operations Network Specialist is a mid-level IT resource providing IT support maintaining and monitoring our clients network landscape. You will be called upon to help address issues, recommend improvements, implement solutions, and contribute to the overall network landscape. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Proficiency in Cisco Meraki (Wired/Wireless). Proficiency in Microsoft Teams Voice. Proficiency in Azure Universal Print. Proficiency in site-to-site VPN. Familiarity with Palo Alto. Familiarity with Zscaler (ZIA and ZPA). Provide comprehensive operational support for all aspects of the network as well as related functions. Monitor and maintain all network infrastructure. Upgrade, harden, and configure all network infrastructure nodes/systems (routers, switches, wireless, etc.). Prepare and maintain documentation for all aspects within scope. Contribute to design and planning efforts for new sites as well as upgrades/expansions for existing sites. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Knowing the appropriate method of communication for a given topic (e.g., Teams, email, video conference, etc.) is necessary for success, as is the ability to teach others.
