| From: Praveen Kumar, Largeton inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: SAP Warehouse Management Consultant Location: Pleasantville New York 10570 (USC/GC prefer as travel to Canada) Duration: 3 - 6 Months Visa:No H1B/CPT/OPT Client:Zwilling (Knife Manufacturing based out of Germany Key responsibilities: Our client located in Pleasantville, New York is looking for an SAP Warehouse Management SME to come in for a 3 month contract to start. This role will be 2-3 days onsite with Travel to the clients site in Canada once every two months. Expenses will be paid for the travel to Canada. This person will be a techno functional resource who can do configurations, create inbound and outbound interfaces, understands picking strategies and has strong communication skills as they will be responsible for ongoing System enhancement and management support and speaking with business leaders and key stakeholders. In this role you will work on the following tasks and duties: Serve as a liaison between the business, IT and Global SAP team for understanding, defining and developing business processes and practices within SAP related to the area of warehousing. Define business requirements and produce functional design specifications, configuration, and test cases related to (external and intercompany), goods receipt, shipping, inventory management, stock transfer, and returns management. Support existing processes in the area WM. Support the expansion of business partner connections including 3PL through EDI/iDoc. Proactively identify process improvements, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks and resolve issues. Develop and maintain appropriate documentation for implementation and testing activities. Present technical subjects/issues clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Preparation and execution of workshops and presentations. Actively participate and contribute to the preparation and implementation of future S/4 HANA upgrades in the area of warehouse management. Project management for local and international SAP projects with focus on SAP WM, with some MM. Close cooperation with Business Process Experts in SAP and the international team. Work to identify and train Power-Users and Key-Users in the SAP WM areas of the business. The Ideal Candidate University degree or equivalent education Extensive professional experience as functional consultant lead in the area of Warehouse Management (required). Good understanding of SAP Standard Processes: Receipts, Shipping & Receiving, Subcontracting, External procurement of Products, Drop Shipment, Stock Transfer, and Returns. Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP WM configuration experience. Experience in design and modelling of business processes. S/4HANA implementation experience is a plus. Experienced in playing a major role in SAP projects is a plus. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Experience in writing functional requirements for system enhancements. The ability to work independently as well as on project teams. Business- and solution-oriented, global mindset with good planning and analytical skills. Willingness to travel. Ability to work in the Pleasantville, NY office on a hybrid basis. Experience and good understanding of Fiori app and RF devices Good understanding of 3PL integration thru iDocs Experience in 3rd party integrated applications (e.g. Conveyor, Kardex, and Put-to-light system) is a huge plus.
