Skilled GCP Solutions Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in the setup, on boarding, performance monitoring, and cost optimization of our GCP tenant. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance GCP performance and reduce costs. Key Responsibilities: 1 Tenant Setup and On boarding: Collaborate with internal teams to understand business requirements and assist in setting up new GCP tenants for various projects. Ensure a secure and efficient onboarding process for new applications and workloads onto GCP. 2. Performance Monitoring: Implement monitoring solutions to track the performance of GCP services, applications, and infrastructure. Proactively identify performance bottlenecks, latency issues, and other areas of improvement. 3. Performance Reporting: Generate regular performance reports for key stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations for enhancing overall system performance. 4. Cost Optimization: Analyze GCP billing and cost data to identify opportunities for cost savings. Work with finance and technical teams to implement cost optimization strategies without compromising performance. 5. Recommendations and Improvements: Collaborate with development and operations teams to suggest and implement improvements in GCP architecture and configurations. Stay updated on GCP best practices and recommend optimizations based on industry trends. 6. Documentation: Document the GCP setup, configurations, and performance optimization strategies. Create guidelines and best practices for efficient GCP usage and cost management. 7. Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams on GCP best practices, performance monitoring tools, and cost management strategies. Qualifications: Proven experience as a GCP Solutions Engineer or similar role. Strong understanding of GCP services and architecture. Proficient in cloud cost management and optimization strategies. Experience with monitoring tools and performance analysis on GCP. Solid understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure on GCP. Preferred Skills: GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Network Engineer certification. Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
