Description:
Seeking a JIRA Administrator to support our US Department of Health and Human Services customer on a three-month assignment. This is a 100% remote position wherein the successful candidate will support the implementation of JIRA Service Management (JSM) for a Tier II Helpdesk.

This project involves designing and implementing a ticketing system to manage incidents, service requests, changes, and problems for the financial systems managed by the US Government client that supports a customer base of 1000+ users.

Responsibilities

Build, configure and administer cloud based JSM (Jira Service Management) product from Atlassian

In this role you will Configure, JSM for new requirements and enhancements as well as perform JSM administration work

Primary responsibility is working with internal teams and other cross functional team to configure builds to deliver JSM Solution

Collaborate with team in developing scalable, efficient, and maintainable solutions using Jira JSM

Create tailored configurations, workflows, automations, reports, and integrations that meet specific user requirements

Configure, administer, and enhance JSM site (customer and agent portal), customize portal accesses to customers and agents

Administer tool integrations including Service Now

License management

Manage implementation issues, escalations and action items

Required

Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance

8+ years of IT experience, including 5 years of hands on experience with JIRA.

2+ years of experience administering, supporting and customizing JIRA to meet the needs of diverse groups of customers and/or developers.

Advanced understanding of JIRA workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, screens schemes, etc.

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.

Experience setting and managing user permissions.

Preferred

Experience working on implementation and support Atlassian products at Federal Government agencies

2+ years of experience administering Jira enterprise instances.

Bachelor's degree in IT-related field
