POSITION Senior Data Architect (With AI/ML experience) Location: Indianapolis, IN (Remote) Long Term Contract Responsibilities About 12-15 Years of industry experience with Data Management, Analytics & AI/ML solutions using AWS, Microsoft Azure Cloud platforms. Must have hands-on experience and successfully architected, designed, and delivered 2 or 3 end-to-end Modern Data Platform using Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Medallion Architecture principles for different consumption patterns along with comprehensive Data Governance functions and Data Modelling Architect and build cost efficient scalable Modern Data Platform architecture (Data Lake, DWH, AI/ML, Domain-driven Data Stores, Data Services etc.) in cloud using AWS services (or equivalent Azure services) Architect and build data analytics layer for BI reporting & AI/ML layer for advanced analytical insights. Ability to assess the existing system architecture, validate use cases, data availability and make recommendations for scalable Sales data platform using AWS (or Azure) Services. Conduct data profiling activities, discover data quality challenges, document the impacts to business and make recommendations for data quality frameworks Design Data pipeline architecture for data ingestion (batch & real-time) and transformation processes using AWS services like Lambda, Amazon Managed Kafka, Glue, etc. (or equivalent Azure services) Optimize data platform using AWS services such as Redshift, DynamoDB, RDS, Aurora, S3, Lake formation, Datazone, Glue Data Catalog, Glue Crawler, EMR (PySpark), Apache Airflow, API Gateway, Data Exchange, Amazon Managed Kafka, etc., (or equivalent Azure services) Design and optimize data governance framework including the management of data, operating model, data policies and standards using AWS Datazone (or equivalent Azure services). Design and implement Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and data preparation techniques for AI/ML model generation. Experience or Knowledgeable with implementation of ML models for advanced analytics using AWS Sagemaker (or equivalent Azure services). Experience with data tools like DBT, Collibra, Great Expectations will be added advantage Experience with CI/CD deployment processes, DevOps, Orchestration, etc. Should have excellent Customer facing skills and effectively communicate and collaborate Leadership, Business, Technology team members Facilitate design and architecture workshops and drive outcomes. Mentor Data engineers in coding best practices and problem solving. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors in computer science or equivalent AWS (or Azure) Certification Solution Architect / Data Analytics AWS (or Azure) Data and Analytics platform implementation experience Experience with healthcare payer domain will be added advantage.
