If the candidate is extremely good then he / she can be remote (EST OR CST time zone) Key Responsibilities: Drive application migration to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Assess application architectures and develop/update repo code (refactoring / re-platforming) Implement cloud-native solutions using GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage. Develop and modernize Java full-stack applications for optimal performance and scalability in the cloud. Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them on Kubernetes clusters. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, architects, DevOps, and stakeholders) to ensure successful migrations. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues. Technical Skills & Experience: 12+ Years of experience in Java full-stack development. Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). Deep understanding of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes. Solid understanding of web application architecture, design patterns, and best practices. Experience with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Preferably Experience working with GCP services, such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage.
