Please target candidates who are local to Chicago, have airline or travel-industry experience, and 8+ years of BA experience writing business requirements for customer or employee facing software tools. a. Any candidates with experience working with PSS Systems (Passenger Service Systems) will take first priority. This is an airline-specific system. b. Candidates without airline experience will NOT be considered. c. If a candidate is not coming out of a typical airline company (United Airlines, Southwest, etc.) they need to have experience with an airline-related company such as: Sabre, Amadeus, Accelya Group, Traxo, Lufthansa Systems, KDS, & Faire Logix, or other travel industry client. Notes: Project is expected to run about two years in length; does not see this position going away any time soon. There is the possibility of converting down the road, so will prioritize candidates who can convert without sponsorship. Required: Must have Airline / airline related industry experience. Must have experience writing business requirements for customer or employee facing software tools. Must have 1+ years of Agile experience. Must have 5+ years of BA experience. Must have strong documentation experience and have experience with functional requirements. Preferred: JIRA experience is a bonus. Experience working with employee-facing or customer-facing applications. SQL experience is nice to have, not required. Any experience with scripting is a bonus, but not required. PSS Systems (Passenger Service Systems) experience is a bonus, not required. Project theyre working on: This BA is writing functional requirements for an internal employee-facing application within United. This application is used by their airport agents to check in passengers and assist customers at the airport. The project is focused on a new UI for this employee-facing application. This BA cannot be heavy on Infrastructure or DT projects; this is more software / application focused. The Sr. Business Analyst will be working with motivated teams on highly visible and valuable employee facing digital products. This position requires an excellent communicator with outstanding analytical skills in order to collaborate with business users, technology teams and leadership in an Agile environment. Translates high level requirements into detailed level requirements (user stories) to be consumed by the development pods in each sprint, while ensuring stories and features are added iteratively to the product to add overall value Analyzes data to ensure features are aligned with product goals/objectives and delivering the most business value Creates acceptance criteria that is clear, concise and actionable Works with User Experience (UX) analysts to ensure prototypes convey story intent Works with IT Development team and EQA to understand the boundaries of any given story Contributes to overall definition of strategy and scope, including working with business stakeholders to understand why we are working on something before development begins Prefer experience building end user software for PSS system. This project is building airport agent software tools to manage customers and flights. Airline experience preferred!!!!
