We have Job opening on Technical Writer Position Role: Technical Writer Position, Duration: Fulltime(Remote), Job Description: Essentially having below knowledge, as its more hybrid & senior role. Understanding of various financial instruments (Mutual Funds /Futures/Options/Derivatives/Equities/OTC etc..) for account maintenance & portfolio management under Security Capital Market Domain. Configuration of APIs (Types REST/SOAP) Excellent SQL, JSON, and XML/Nesting experience. Hands-on development on Appian BPM applications. Create various types of connected system plug-in configurations and how to use it in Appian. Experience required 12+ years. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize API development and integrations. Understanding of various financial assets (Mutual Funds /Futures/Options/Derivatives/Equities/OTC) for account maintenance & portfolio management. Good understanding in Trading Life Cycle & having good Capital market domain knowledge. Strong technical knowledge around data harvesting, and data base mapping to support daily business processes. Experience with distributed systems and service architectures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize API development and integrations. Excellent SQL, JSON, and XML/Nesting experience. Define and implement API standards, best practices, and processes. Assisting clients throughout various capital market transactions and financial structures Gathers and documents business requirements and specifications. Works to understand internal client's business above and beyond the immediate requirements. Build and maintain tools that validate API best practices. Works with agile team and product owner to determine priority, scope and timetable for user requests. Knowledge of building enterprise-class applications at scale Works as part of an agile delivery technology team collaborating with other developers. Converts requirements into user stories, updates and creates functional specifications. Acts as the liaison between internal business groups and the development staff to ensure proper implementation of requirements within the expected timetable. Follows the prescribed SDLC processes. Communicates any material modifications of the business requirements to the client. Provides application and production support to internal clients. Manage the developer relationship program, including onboarding, training, and support for external developers. Excellent communication and collaboration skills Continuously improve the API governance process through data-driven decision making and experimentation Preferred skills and qualifications Direct experience working with trading systems and an understanding of program and algorithmic trading workflows. (Preferred to work on CRD (Charles River Development/CRIMS Charles River Development Investment Management System). Application Development and updating (Appian), Application Integrations, Application Maintenance, Applications Architecture, Detail-Oriented, Enterprise Application Delivery, Problem Solving, Programming Languages, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), System Applications Good understanding of Appian Objects such as Records, Sites, Actions, Process Models, Constants, Decisions, Integrations (Web API, Connected Systems etc), Data Stores, Groups, etc. Participate in the day-to-day activities of the Appian BPM development teams.
