Experience in personnel management responsibilities including exercising usual authority concerning staff, performance appraisals, promotions, and discipline (up to and including terminations). Experience in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, developing, and retaining highly qualified engineering staff. Skill and experience in providing technical direction to the Mainframe team. Ability to convey and enforce strict segregation of engineering duties. Specifically, enforcement of complete segregation of Production from DEV/QA/Test and DevOps/DevSecOps environments. Quintessential controls ensure ability should not exceed authority. Coaching and mentoring team members must be a key focus. Passion for learning modern innovative technologies.
