We may also need to add some SQL Server Integration Services to our skillset to support data transformation between P21 and BillTrust )(experience with SSIS). I would rank SQL/Crystal/SSAS/SSRS experience or mentality over the web development stack. C# and .Net Core Must have Prophet 21: We are on Prophet 21 ver 2022.2. We need someone with experience with no later than ver 2021.1 Need linked in Job Purpose / Summary: The Business Systems Developer, reporting to the Applications Development Manager in IT, will leverage development best practices to design, develop, support, and ensure the integrity and availability of the Pearlman Groups applications, analytics, and reporting. A successful candidate will be self-motivated and driven to investigate and resolve issues with applications and data integrations while balancing multiple projects. The candidate will have excellent troubleshooting and communication skills as well as the ability to work directly with business leaders to determine their needs and design preferences, creating full stack code and running tests to ensure that appropriate code design is used, and security standards are being met. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: The Business Systems Developer will be responsible for the following, but not limited to: Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using development best practices. Generate SQL scripts to support new and existing SQL Reporting and Analysis Services. Executes assignments utilizing programming languages and frameworks including, but not limited to, C#.NET Core, SQL, Vue.js, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs. Integrate data from various back-end web services and databases. Work with stakeholders to gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs. Create and maintain software documentation. Understand and operate within an Agile delivery model. Develop and validate test routines to ensure the quality of deliverables. Design assignments with web services like REST, SOAP, etc. Responsible for the development of new business applications and improvements to existing technologies. Ability to prioritize work and exercise good judgement while managing multiple tasks involved in support, development, and project management. Can function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, customer-oriented team, perform effectively as an independent producer under broad management direction, and demonstrate a willingness to support the team on all levels to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications & Education Requirements: To perform the job successfully, an individual must have the following: 5-7 years overall experience as a Software Developer or comparable experience. 3-5 years of experience with SQL server. 3-5 years in Crystal Reports, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). 3-5 years of experience in C#.Net. 1-3 years of experience working with Front-end JavaScript and CSS frameworks such as Vue and Bootstrap. 1-3 years API development, design, and integration, REST, JSON, XML, XSD translation to payloads. Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 ERP and its APIs is a preferred and a MAJOR plus. Proficient experience using Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in a Windows operating system. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Development, or related field. Agile and test-driven development best practices. Proven experience in sound development practices. Able to execute on tactical issues while keeping broader picture intact. Excellent priority and time management skills. Ability to effectively implement multiple projects.
