As a Cohesity Nutanix AHV Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our virtualization and data management infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the smooth operation of Nutanix AHV virtualization, implementing and managing Cohesity data protection solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall system performance. Responsibilities: Nutanix AHV Administration: Manage and maintain the Nutanix AHV virtualization environment. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AHV clusters for performance and resource utilization. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Nutanix AHV with other infrastructure components. Cohesity Data Management: Design, implement, and manage Cohesity data protection and backup solutions. Perform regular backups, ensure data integrity, and develop and execute recovery procedures. Stay updated on Cohesity features and enhancements to continuously improve data management capabilities. Infrastructure Optimization: Collaborate with system architects to design and implement infrastructure improvements. Work on capacity planning, scaling, and performance tuning to ensure optimal system performance. Implement best practices for security, compliance, and disaster recovery. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Generate regular reports on system performance, backup status, and other relevant metrics. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network, storage, and security teams, to address integration requirements. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and end-users to understand their needs and provide timely support. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Nutanix AHV Administrator in an enterprise environment. Hands-on experience with Cohesity data protection solutions. In-depth knowledge of virtualization technologies, specifically Nutanix AHV. Familiarity with storage technologies and backup methodologies. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
