Job Detail: Job Title: Senior Application Developer (.Net) Location: 100% Remote Duration: 06+ Months Contract Job Description: Develop new solution(s) in support of PRIME consolidation effort for rating & renewal, plan availability, zip code management. Responsibilities: a. The candidate will spend time understanding the existing codebase and systems architecture, understanding the requirements, creating designs, writing code, creating tests, running tests, doing code reviews in order to deliver a solution. Theyll also be expected to provide regular updates on status/progress. Theyll be working w/in a team of 4 other developers and working with others on the project (Business Analyst, Quality Assurance Analyst). Required Experience: Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Math, Computer Science / Engineering or High School Diploma / GED with equivalent experience 8+ years of software development experience 4+ years of experience working as a .NET developer working with C# / ASP.NET / MVC 4+ years of experience working with HTML / CSS 4+ years working with relational databases (SQL/Server) Preferred Experience: Developing applications from scratch Working in an Agile environment Azure DevOps pipeline development (CI/CD setup) Developing cloud hosted services (Azure) JavaScript and/or JavaScript UI frameworks (e.g. React/Vue/Knockout) Unit test development (XUnit) Developing with .NET Core / .NET 5+ Entity Framework and/or Entity Framework Core. Team the candidate will be working with: 4 FT developers who build and support solutions as part of a broader enablement team (BA and QA skillsets, that are embedded in a business unit).
