Visa: Any Visa Except OPT, CPT Exp : 10+ Responsibilities: With a focus on resolving open risks related to data protection audit findings, this consultant will take the lead on addressing issues and gaps to ultimately close out these findings. While taking the lead on addressing and resolving data protection audit findings, you'll also be responsible for developing the client's overall data governance, privacy, and security function. Over this engagement, you will: Responsibilities: Design and implement a comprehensive data governance, privacy and security program, to include developing policies, procedures, and frameworks Take the lead on the selection and implementation of a data discovery and classification tool Collaborate with IT teams to label/tag discovered data according to the company's data classification scheme Make recommendations for enhancements to data logging and monitoring activities Work with Cyber Security to implement data protection measures, user access controls, encryption methodologies, and privacy policies Ensure company compliance with CCPA, PCI, state laws and regulations and other data-related regulatory requirements. Make enhancements to the companys data retention schedule and practices Develop and deliver data governance, privacy and security training programs to educate staff on data governance, privacy and security practices and requirements Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the data governance, privacy and security program Qualifications: Bachelors or masters degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related Minimum of 7+ years' experience in data governance, privacy, security and data management, or related fields Strong knowledge of data governance, privacy and security frameworks, methodologies, and best practices Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, PCI, current and planned individual state laws and regulations, etc. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proven willingness to take ownership of work and lead on data initiatives Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or similar certification is a plus Thanks and Regards, Manikanta Bench Sales / Recruiter Jupiter Technologies Email : [email protected] LinkedIn : https://lnkd.in/gzddwfhX Keywords: information technology golang |
