They currently have one resource who currently supports JIRA ticketing service desk platforms across multiple business lines.

JIRA is the official ticketing and change management system and will be used to facilitate Agile Project Mgt.

Seek to bring on a contractor who could be converted to FTE after one year.

Summary of Role:

         The Technology Tools Analyst role serves as a subject matter expert for the technologies under management, specifically the Atlassian ecosystem of products including but not limited to Jira Service Management, Jira Software, Confluence and OpsGenie.

         The role will be actively involved in the continual evolution of the Atlassian tools within the organization, including aiding in training staff members on usage and best practices and participating in scoping use cases with business owners for definition and execution.

         Additionally, the Tools Analyst will assist with administrative functions including cleanup and optimization tasks to prepare the Atlassian systems for expanded use.

         The role executes detail-oriented and analytical functions in aligning Information Technology Service Management principles to the business of technology.

         The Technology Business Analyst must have operational analytical proficiencies in managing the enterprise complexities of the following assets/services- service desk tools, reporting, asset management, vendor performance metrics, best practices for knowledge management, MS O365 tools.

         The role enhances team interactions within the CTO team and within the Technology Department including being a contributor to future state roadmap.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

         Assist in the ongoing maintenance and support of our Atlassian products, including troubleshooting issues, resolving user queries, and providing training and documentation.

         Collaborate with the Technology team to identify and prioritize new features for implementation, ensuring that they meet business needs and enhance user experience.

         Stay abreast of the latest Atlassian product releases, features, and best practices to optimize the utilization of our Atlassian suite.

         Document processes and procedures related to Atlassian products to maintain institutional knowledge and facilitate training for new team members.

         Effectively communicate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, address concerns, and provide updates on Atlassian product-related initiatives.

         Perform administrator functions for tools supported.

         Engage with business to define requirements and build knowledge management tools for efficiency and collaboration.

         Execute process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of technical processes.

Experience

         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

         Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with Atlassian products, specifically Jira Service Desk, Jira Software, Confluence, and OpsGenie.

Skills

         Proficient understanding of ITIL and ITSM principles, methodologies, and best practices.

         Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

         Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

         Ability to work with minimal supervision.

         Proficiencies with Agile and Jira

         Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.

         Expertise in data manipulation with tools like MS Excel, Access, BI tools, etc.

         Experience creating and publishing dashboards and creation of status updates.

         Ability to effectively collaborate with multiple groups to complete required tasks.

         Ability to provide guidance and feedback on-demand.

         Experience building collaboration sites Strong organizational skills including ability to prioritize competing tasks.

         Advanced skills in Microsoft O365
