Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Azure Database Developer to join our dynamic team. As an Azure Database Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database solutions on the Azure platform. Your expertise in architecture design, requirements analysis, and data flow optimization will contribute to the success of our projects. Responsibilities: Architecture Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Azure-based database solutions. Ensure that the architecture aligns with business goals and follows best practices for scalability, performance, and security. Requirements Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and understand database requirements. Translate business needs into technical specifications and design database solutions that meet the defined criteria. Data Flow Optimization: Optimize data flow within Azure databases to enhance performance and efficiency. Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve data processing speed and overall system responsiveness. Database Development: Develop, implement, and maintain database solutions using Azure database services. Write efficient, reliable, and scalable SQL queries and stored procedures. Ensure data integrity and security. Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning: Diagnose and resolve database-related issues. Conduct performance tuning to optimize query execution and database performance. Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify potential problems. Collaboration: Collaborate with application developers, data engineers, and other IT professionals to integrate database solutions with applications and systems. Provide technical guidance and support to team members. Qualifications: 5+ years of Proven experience as a Database Developer with a focus on Azure services. Must have EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION / PRESENTATION SKILLS Prefer experience in Bio / Pharma related industry -- NOT REQUIRED Strong proficiency in SQL and T-SQL scripting. Experience in designing and implementing database architecture on the Azure platform. Familiarity with Azure data services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Factory. Knowledge of data modeling and database optimization techniques. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Azure certifications related to databases. Experience with NoSQL databases.
