Position- Guidewire Integration Lead

Location- Dallas, TX - onsite

Duration- 12 to 24 Months, might be extended

Position Description

Configure, build & develop Guidewire components using GOSU, Integration plugins, messaging, REST APIs, etc.

Apply GW coding standards, best practices and design patterns to deliver solutions.

Coordinate with business users, business analysts, and team members to understand the business requirements and configure complex business rules and workflows.

Trouble shoot & resolve technical issues, provide solutions & workarounds to critical requirements.

Adhere to enterprise security and performance requirements.

Identify risks and opportunities which can affect program and project deliverables with follow-through on mitigation, resolution, and action plans.

Prepare and enhance design documents that would be needed to support product configuration Field mapping, Data definition, rules definition.

Certified on the Guidewire product portfolio 

Good understanding of P&C Insurance, relevant project experience on Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter

Good understanding of OOP design principles.

Good understanding of enterprise integration design patterns.

Comfortable in juggling multiple activities and fast deadlines while maintaining professional demeanor

Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to negotiate and influence business and technology stakeholders.

Good experience working in onsite/offshore environment and be able to handle teams

Job Title - Guidewire Integration Lead

Guidewire Technical Integration Lead Policycenter

Job Description:

Technical Skills: 

10 years of Software development experience using web technologies

3 years experience implementing Guidewire Digital applications*

Highly skilled in JavaScript and React framework 

Experience with automated unit testing using Jest/Enzyme or similar frameworks

Hands-on with the ability to quickly architect and implement technical solutions

Experience work with server-side technologies (JSON/RPC, REST)

Other Skills/Experience: 

Effective communication and collaboration skills 

Experience leading a small to medium implementation teams 

BS in Computer Science or equivalent 

Highly motivated, result-driven, and tenacious problem solver

Ability to develop deep customer relationships and become a trusted advisor

Nice to Have: 

Guidewire Insurance Suite 

Insurance industry experience

Job Description: GUIDEWIRE ARCHITECT

You Are:

A talented application GW Claims Center Application Architect with deep knowledge of Guidewire Claim Center & GW Products. Youre skilled in all aspects of Guidewire implementation, from design and configuration to customization and support after the solution goes live. You enjoy working with people with all different skill sets, and you have a flair for negotiating and gaining consensus in a fast-paced environment. You have plentyyoure a master at juggling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. Planning and strategizing come easily to you, and you have a take-charge approach to seeing tasks through to completion.

The Work:

Bring Latest GW offering, products, innovation, and best practice to the table.

Work with Customer Architects, Lead Engineers, Solution architect and technical leads to identify the solutions that are relevant to business problems and targeted architecture.

Identify, create, extend, and maintain reusable architectural patterns & solutions and to facilitate development of future solutions.

Prepare detailed designs for complex features and assist developers with implementation.

Guide the Tech leads and Teams on ground on implementation and execution challenges.

Create GW SAAS best practices, product standards, quality assurance norms and guidelines. and track until implement into the projects.

Review code and ensure developers are adhering to standards, GW best practices and properly addressing.

Create detailed design document/technical specifications, for select GWCC, Digital and Edge services-based projects.

Track the teams on efficient and quality code based on given specifications.

Create Guidewire Accelerators and white papers.

Heres What You Need:

Strong GW Product knowledge and Insurance domain knowledge.

Guidewire Ace certified in configuration and Integration.

Minimum of 5 years experience in a Guidewire Architect role (expertise in Architecting and expanding the solutions on top of GW OOTB functionalities).

Must have GW cloud experience.

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Guidewire Claims center Configuration, Integration and Testing Frameworks.

Minimum of 10 years of proven development experience in Object Oriented Programming (such as Java) and SQL.

Experience supporting Property & Casualty Insurance to understand and analyze the business needs of the customer.

Should have GW SAAS implementation experience.

Prior experience with Apache and JBOSS Application servers.

Experience with either XML, GUnit, Jenkins, GIT/Subversion/TFS, Code Coverage and Code Scan Plugin/Tools.

Prior experience with Application Servers like WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss and/or Tomcat.

Expertise in designing the overall solutions on GW Products like Jutro , cloud APIs , Integration framework.

Expertise in writing G Unit test cases and integrate them to build/pipeline.

Background in consulting or equivalent in a customer-facing role in professional services.

Ability to become certified in multiple Guidewire Insurance Suite products and develop a thorough understanding of product platform, including all integration technologies.

Demonstrable proficiency in designing, implementing and supporting packaged vendor products.

Prior experience with Database Servers like SQL Server, Oracle, and/or DB2.

Ability to engage different stakeholders (Configuration, Integration, Middleware and Legacy teams) to resolve issues.

4th Requirement -

Position -    Guidewire Technical Project Manager

Location -    Pocatello, Idaho -  100% onsite

Duration -    12+ Months

 Guidewire Technical Project Manager

To lead and drive a team of developers in a fast-paced environment while solving difficult business problems.

Act as the Project / Program Manager to lead and guide program by working closely with Senior IT and Business Leads

Develop Strategy to implement large Guidewire Policy Center implementation across the product lines in Personal lines.

Engage with Senior Executives, Sponsors of the program to review and track the progress of the implementation.

Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders and experience in managing stakeholders.

Oversee design documents that would be needed to support product configuration Field mapping, Data definition, rules definition and so on

Be responsible for leading the solutioning efforts by developing and presenting POCs.

Identify value additions that can be built as configuration components and reused on multiple projects, to gain efficiency / productivity.

Coordinate with Client program management team, business users, and team members to drive the scope of program.

Ability to manage the program teams in a global delivery model. Coordinate the teams located at different geographical locations.

Oversee task allocation, monitoring, and status reporting to the client & project leadership

What you need (Knowledge, Skills and Experience)

Have overall work experience ranging between 12-15 years, with at least 5 years of Guidewire PolicyCenter, billing center and or Claims Center implementation experience and program management experience.

Have a differentiator mindset a practitioner who contributes to asset creation and build the competency / team.

Have thorough understanding of agile methodology.

Have proven experience as a Project / Program Manager or other managerial position.

Have a deep insight into the SDLC and strong understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of application development projects involving the implementation of complex business rules.

Have proven technical experience in requirement analysis, detailed designs and implementation activities required to ensure the development, integration, and long-term maintenance of applications.

Prior experience with configuration and development of Guidewire components using GOSU, Wizards, PCF, Data Model, Workflow, Activities, Product Designer etc

Prior experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, providing solutions & workarounds to critical requirements.

Strong experience on implementing personal lines on Guidewire suite including personal auto, property, umbrella, etc

Expertise in configuration and development of various areas of Guidewire Transactions, Job configuration, Experience in implementing multiple LOBs, Forms Management, Administration, Account Management, Contacts and so on.

Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Guidewire Certification mandatory.

Experience working with Guidewire Cloud

5th Requirement -

Job Title  -    OneShield Developer

Location  -   Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, New Jersey, Pennsylvania - Multiple locations

Duration   - 12 Months+

Primary Skills -  java,PL/SQL,OneShield,OneShield Dragon

OneShield Developer 

    At least 4-5 years of experience with designing and deploying insurance products on OSPAS (OneShield Policy Administration System) with overall 9+ years experience in OOPS, Java, SQL etc.

    Must have good experience in Rating, UI, Forms, Workflow, QPP/DEC and Rating worksheets with good debugging skills.

    Responsible for maintenance and development of the application using OneShield Dragon Designer Tool.

    Ability to identify and create specs for the OneShield PAS configuration and Integration changes that are needed based on requirements.

    Identify the best practices and standards for OneShield Product development with respect to workflows, rules and other modules.

    Self-motivated with an ability to work in cross platform technologies and ability to multi-task.

    Good experience in PL/SQL, JAVA and OOPS.

    P&C Insurance experience in highly preferred.

    Should be a strong team player to lead and cross train the skills with others.
