Our client provides a broad range of innovative solutions tailored to the specific requirements of individuals, institutional, corporate and government clients through an international network in 20 countries with 26,000 staff worldwide. They serve their clients through five business divisions: domestic retail, global markets, global investment banking, global merchant banking, and asset management. Team Overview: The Risk Technology group is responsible for design and development for Global Risk reporting. This team is focused on processing and storing Historical Market Data. This data is used for P&L generation and VaR, (Value at Risk), computations and is also utilized by other downstream systems that work with risk. It is a global team of developers, specializing in different technologies, such as Java, Python, C#, Machine Learning and database. Description: Design, Development and Support of various modules and components of the Historical Market Data (HMD) which stores historical time series data for FICC and Equities. Articulate technical design & solutions to non-technical business users. Ownership of project work during different phases of SDLC: Initiation, development, unit testing to QA, UAT, staging and productions. Profiling of the current application, new changes and identification of areas of performance improvement and memory optimization will be imperative to make this role successful. Writing Unit test cases (Junit) and documenting the technical design and other operational procedures will be needed as well.
