Experience with domain registrar management, Mark Monitor, UltraDNS and BloxOne will be preferred above those. Infoblox is our highest need, so without being able to speak intelligently to supporting that environment, cutting it over from Microsoft DNS, etc. we would not be extending an offer. (i.e. I have worked in Bluecat and I am willing to learn Infoblox is not our ideal candidate) We are looking for someone to make us smarter in Infoblox solutions and services. This position is budgeted for the full year and the right candidate could be extended into 2025 The Infrastructure Systems Engineer role is primarily responsible for assisting in deploying and managing our DNS systems. Today Humana has a mix of Windows DNS and Infoblox for our internal DNS while we leverage the UltraDNS solution for our external resolutions. This role is responsible for analysis, configuration and maintenance of complex systems based on a thorough knowledge of systems engineering as well as programming concepts and techniques. This role includes managing operating systems, device drivers, utilities, and software. The Infrastructure Systems Engineer work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. The Infrastructure Systems Engineer maintains and modifies systems software for use internally, conducts requirements gathering and analysis, Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures. Required Qualifications 3 or more years as a Systems Engineer in design, analysis, configuration and maintenance of complex systems software solutions, based on a thorough knowledge of systems engineering and extensive experience managing and maintaining enterprise class DNS solutions. Experienced in Systems software engineering/programming is a specialized area of software engineering/programming focused on software that operates/controls computer hardware and provides a platform for running end user applications Experience Includes operating systems, device drivers, utilities, and software; development tools (e.g., assemblers, compilers, etc.) Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field.
