Duration: 12+ Months Mode of Interview: Phone and Video Job Description: The Senior Experience Design role requires a focused and thorough individual with successful prior experience building robust and innovative digital platforms . The Senior Experience Designer will be responsible for supporting Agile routines, leading workshops with clients, collaborating with designers, developers and client stakeholders, and delivering fast-paced UX thinking in unrefined prototypes. What you'll do: Providing the appropriate qualified staff for the various UI UX engagements/projects necessary for the timely completion of the work. Facilitating a weekly review with the UI UX Design Head to discuss performance of the team and to collaborate on upcoming work assignments and team organization. Preparing and presenting 2-3x a year on the latest industry trends and best practices in UI UX to keep the UI UX Design and stakeholder community abreast of the on-going innovation, challenges, whats on the horizon. Aligning with program increment (PI) planning cycles and tools to make deliverables visible (e.g., agile methodology, Azure DevOps (ADO). Working with UI UX Design Head and team to establish design, delivery strategy, culture and value capture activities. Presenting on leading design practices and establishing design eminence across the organization Providing creative guidance, supporting business unit and platform teams UI, UX projects and activities across the organization. Enabling high quality UI UX creative, project delivery and growth. Creating initial project scoping and staffing. Addressing delivery issues and escalations. Managing onboarding and integrating designers to the team Creating and updating the plan that tracks work and critical check in points for each designer. Manages designer / project status reporting. Manages escalation tracking and resolution. Working with project teams and designers to create detailed planning and scoping for UX, UI and Design Thinking activities. Plans design thinking workshops, performs reviews on workshop and UX activities, and owns the creation of UX processes. Performs reviews of visual designs and owns the creation of UI processes and design system work. Informing the creation of personas and journey/experience maps. Capturing day in the life of key personas and identify opportunities for improved experiences. Follow agile processes to rapidly deliver conceptual low-fidelity wireframes and prototypes. Test and iterate, designs to generate high-fidelity designs and final products. Planning and organizing resources (people, props, and processes) in order to improve employees and customer experiences. Identify conflicts between business models that do not align with the service that Chevron delivers. Reduce redundancies by mapping out the whole cycle of internal service processes. Creating, updating and reviewing content around the end-to-end user journey. Leveraging data and testing to understand what people need and then try to meet those needs. Build content plans to serve the audience the information they need, when they need it. Define product features and functionality for internal contributors and users. Creating new Models that support product decisions including feature prioritization. Estimating and tracking value across initiatives, programs and projects. What you've got: 5+ years of professional experience within UX discipline in digital agency or marketing consultancy environments extra bonus points for: working at a startup or having the opportunity help shape an approach or end product. Dynamic portfolio of complex, digital experiences for global brands. Ability to think at a high level about product strategy and vision (not just 'how it should look' but 'what we should build'). Bias for action and tolerance to navigate a sometimes-ambiguous environment. Excellent communication and client-facing presentation skills Exceptional abilities to explain design rationale , to align and persuade stakeholders, and to drive conversation Solid understanding of other disciplines (such as business, technology, delivery, marketing, and content) needed to create a brilliant product Appreciation for other disciplines (such as business, technology, delivery, marketing, and content) needed to create a brilliant product Proficiency in XD tools such as: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Craft, Zeplin and Keynote.
