The project: For this particular role, the BA will be tasked with developing requirements and managing an RFP (request for Proposal) for Software, so having someone who has participated in that process as the BA and is capable of managing the timeline on this is crucial. I think many of the candidates I am seeing thus far (still going through all of them) seem to have experience with developing stories and/or project execution. Thats important, someone who is comfortable with the process of developing an RFP and managing the responses, etc. Start: Ideal start date would be 3 weeks out from the date a candidate accepts an offer to allow for proper on boarding per the ITS Admin team. Duration: 3 months to start Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred At least 5 years relevant work experience preferred Demonstrates strong Agile expertise Possesses excellent interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer focus and demonstrated ability to work in geographically dispersed teams Ability to manage competing priorities Must have strong computer skills and be proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications Demonstrates strong public speaking and presentation skills Demonstrate strong facilitation skills with the ability to drive toward common solutions Demonstrate strong interviewing, listening, and observational skills used to identify and define business and technical needs Demonstrate strong analytical and conceptual skills used to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, while reconciling discrepancies Demonstrate strong analytical modelling skills (models that clearly and easily communicate concepts to customers) Demonstrates effective IT system and business function documentation skills Understands business process design/analysis Experience gathering requirements and design and deploying best practice process solutions that help achieve the strategic goals of the university. Experience with process design and data flow Lead process discovery, re-engineering, improvement and analysis sessions to identify solutions that are repeatable, efficient and accelerate value by employing proven best practice solutions.
