| Title: VMWare SME Engineer / SQL DBA Location: Remote Duration: 6+ Months Rate: $60/hr C2C VISA: No H1b Searching for a Senior Level SME (Subject Matter Expert)/ SQL DBA for all VMWare environments for a Global World Class organization. Candidate must be highly seasoned, motived, driven, willing to adapt to culture and methodologies. Job Description: Serve as a SME for 2700+ VMServers and all infrastructure across the globe 24 X 7 Must be able to build a ESX server, build/design Virtual Machines, set up VMotion, DRS, HA, knowledge of vROps/VRLI, VM Workstation, VMware converter, VMWare backup products and other virtualization tools Avamar, Data Domain Will be required to have strong understanding of system Design, integration, installation and testing Familiar with Change management tools such as Service Now, change management procedures and reporting practices Windows Operating Systems and strong Networking experience required. Will maintain the highest level of systems and infrastructure. Must be familiar with LACP, VLAN, VPN, HPE, Cisco, DAS, SAN, NFS Work closely with technical and non-technical personnel to manage all projects minimizing downtown Participate in on-call 24X7 support as needed in the event of system outage or failure Knowledge and experience with Security Audits Requirements Bachelors Degree in related field 3-5 years of VMWare tehnologies SQL DBA 3+ Years Enterprise Experience with Cisco, HPE, UCS System design, integration, public, private and hybrid Cloud technologies SAN storage technologies RedHat Windows EMC Avamar Data Domain Strong Network technologies Active Directory Visio Server Zoning Multi-patching Knowledge of Server Back-ups VMWare Hardening Guide Afinity and Anti-afinity Rules Dynamic Resources Voice Services -- Keywords: information technology |
