| From: Syed Zameer Ahmed, Cygnus Professionals [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Workday Consultant- Techno Functional Location: Remote Role (CST/PST time zone preferred) Duration: Long-term Contract Job Description: Plans and directs the design, configure and test of the Workday workstream for the DDC project and the support of other Workday related projects (Orion, Orchid). This position is accountable for the successful delivery of Workday projects using project management methodology and providing hands-on leadership. This position is also responsible for the mapping Workday business requirements, business process design and integrated systems including technical requirements, documentation and change management alignment. Description: Act as the lead techno-functional resource on Workday projects Responsible for the analysis, design, scheduling, construction and delivery of the Workday solution. Responsible for managing all stages of the project for the compensation, jobs, and payroll integration areas from requirements definition gathering to project planning, testing and implementation. Responsible for EIB data loads build and load - in support of downstream system testing including Hire Employee, Change Job, Move Workers, Request Compensation Change processes. Monitor progress of tasks against plan, and reports status to leadership on project issues Identify and manage the risks associated with programs to achieve success. Ensure prompt triage and issue resolution of reported WD project issues in System Testing, UAT, and Integration Testing. Provide a proactive interface between HR client groups and the Workday team to ensure effective coordination and delivery of Workday implementations Knowledge and Skills: Strong program and project management skills. Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Strong personal communication skills along with effective people management/ collaboration skills Strong knowledge of Workday HCM Core, Compensation, and Benefits functionality and configuration Exceptional problem-solving and time management skills and highly detail oriented. Superior stakeholder management skills; Interacts frequently with internal and external management and senior level customer representatives. Ability to lead effective meetings and briefings for internal and external representatives. Must often coordinate efforts between functional areas or members of an extended project team. Interact with subordinates/highly skilled specialists who exercise significant latitude and independence.
